R: Replacing Drinking with STEAM hobbies will help me become the person I couldn't be while drinking.

T: Since STEAM is 5 letters every five days will consists of two hours of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics studies.

This is my first accountability log

I need to try and draw again

The date was February 11th, 2022, at 1100EST, in an corporate bar/restaurant chain built on Haudenosaunee, Wendat and Huron land.

I told myself : "I don't want to do this anymore" and succumbed to corporate slavery.

Two years of being corporate undead is enough.

I need to draw, otherwise I will never reclaim my "true" self.

Because wireshark and tcpdump are my friends.

Another weekend on-call that I didn't need to be called for.

I just want this place to fire me, that way I can at least collect the unemployment I've paid into while getting certified in something more interesting then desktop support.

Fuck Managed Service Providers....they waste your time and money.

Uh yay?

You would think that as I approach my forties I would've learned to deal with this 'frustration', but I haven't and it sucks.

Oh well

As this corporate coercion continues to underpay,I've taken to reading books on plumbing and electrical work to complemnt my technical literacy.

Though I will never be in a position to work these jobs as a career, it would be beneficial to know how electricity and water are supplied to where I live.

Learning about incident response today.
