For 4 years I've sabotaged what I wanted to do with art by drinking myself to death.
My living family exploits what little money I have for their own benefit.
The one person who is attracted to me I must give up because it makes my living family "unconfortable."

As somebody who sees capitalism as the root of our mayor problems o this planet, I would say that, by how you describe them, your family sound like assholes/"parasites". No kind of Utopia is going to "fix" them.
I agree with @D1MMED0098 that you should deal with that situation, but not by inaction. Everyone's situation is "complicated", but you should at least consider cutting them off.
I also wish you the best for severing your ties with alcohol as well.
