So about two weeks ago I planned out how I was going to achieve my art goals by next year. This was part of pencilkings November Art Challenge. The week before last I implemented it and got some great feed back on what I need to improve.

I know the foundations have to be my focus. I only have a surface level of understanding. In that people and myself can tell what I'm trying to express. My biggest challenges so far are continuing to get comfortable in digital media, incorporate fundamentals such as perspective/form, lighting/colour and anatomy. That means switching from posting my daily exercises to actual works in progress to get better.

This means having to retool my goals and I need to do that to get better. I'll spending the weekend finding that focus and should be back to posting by nex week. Also it's been nearly a year since the tumblr purge and I never though I'd get to the point of posting myself. Still not at a level I'd like yet, but so long as I'm here and asking questions I'm bound to reach my creative goals eventually.
